In this newsletter we’re introducing Forklift Training Systems (FTS), our dedicated training partner. FTS operates as a nationwide training partner for operators of all types of material handling equipment.

At the Forefront of Operator & Safety Training

Forklifts Group transferred all trainers from its locations to Forklift Training Systems at the beginning of 2025. This not only grew the number of training course dates they offer, it increased the types of training now available to you.

The training course options now open to your teams from FTS include:

1. Forklift Operator Training – Offered at customers’ locations
2. MEWP Operator Training – Offered at customers’ locations
3. Yard Truck Operator Training – Offered at customers’ locations
4. Forklift Train the Trainer – Offered at a Forklifts Group Ohio location (Columbus, Toledo) offered at customers’ locations, or offered remotely via Zoom
5. MEWP Train the Trainer – Offered at a Forklifts Group Ohio location (Columbus, Toledo) offered at customers’ locations, or offered remotely via Zoom
6. Yard Truck Train the Trainer – Offered at customers’ locations
7. Additional Class (Fall Protection, OSHA 10, etc.) – Offered at customers’ locations

All taught by 12 knowledgeable experts with decades of experience training operators (with an average of 10-15 years per trainer).

Key Training Advantages Available to You at FTS

What puts Forklift Training Systems ahead of other training options? Here’s a few direct advantages for you, regardless of industry or location.

But wait, what about travel limits? How far will the trainers travel to come on-site and run training?

For customers in Western states:

1. Trainers will travel within a 50-mile radius of these California cities: Oakland, Sacrament, Manteca, Fresno.
2. If traveling more than 100 miles from a Forklifts Group location, the training class must have more than 10 attendees.

For customers in Eastern states:

1. For operator training (all equipment types), trainers will go to Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, and New York.
2. For Train the Trainer, the remote/virtual option is the best option, but trainers will travel to larger classes from the nearest Ohio location.

Scheduling Options for Training Courses from FTS

Use the Online Registration for: Forklift Train the Trainer, MEWP Train the Trainer.

• Go to ForkliftTrainingSystems.com and click the Training Registration page.
• Select the course your team needs.
• You'll find course dates listed. Choose "Zoom Online class" for the date you want.
• Click “Register” and enter your team’s information.
• Depending on course date and type, you’ll either have an immediate payment option, or receive an invoice.

For Forklift Operator Training (East & West):

• Call 614-583-5749 or request a training quote at the Operator Training Quote page.
• Select the course type you want.
• Enter your information and a time frame for scheduling your training.
• A Forklift Training Systems rep will follow up with you to complete the signup process.
